Hone your skills with drawing and painting through targeted techniques, including shading, contour and line work in drawing; color theory and color mixing, fine brushwork and detail with acrylic paints; and dry brush and wet-on-wet techniques with watercolor. Experiment with hand-building with air dry clay, learning how to use slabs, coils and slip, score and blend to make small vessels and figures. After mastering new techniques and skills, experiment with mixed media, adding tiles and paint to air dry clay sculptures, making painted collage and more.
