Children will enjoy time exploring a variety of art mediums and expand skills in drawing, painting and mixed media. They will learn more about color theory and color mixing with oil pastels and acrylic paints, different types of lines created with brushes and pencils, shading, basic shapes and proportions. In class we will also experiment with mixed media and new media, including weaving and combining collage with drawing and painting.
